Christopher melendez

Chief executive officer

Christopher Melendez is a San Diego-based General Contractor, Construction Manager, and founder of Nextgen Builders Group. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership & Ministry from Life Pacific University and a Master’s degree in Construction Management from NewSchool of Architecture & Design.

Combining leadership, project management, and hands-on construction expertise, Christopher leads Nextgen Builders Group in providing high-quality residential remodeling, tenant improvement, and construction management services. His work is built on integrity, clear communication, and a commitment to excellence.

Joe Guerrero

Chief Operating officer, Commercial Division

Joe Guerrero is a seasoned Construction and Property Management professional with over a decade of hands-on experience in the field. He holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration and previously served at AH Construction, where he contributed to numerous successful residential and commercial projects. Joe is passionate about leadership development and is committed to growing as a transformative leader in the construction industry, leveraging both his field expertise and business acumen to drive results and inspire teams.

Construction Supervisor

Daniel Melendez brings over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, starting his journey as a laborer and mastering multiple trades along the way. With a deep passion for building and remodeling, Daniel has earned a reputation for running jobs with precision, efficiency, and confidence. His hands-on knowledge, leadership on the field, and commitment to quality make him an invaluable asset to any project. Daniel’s dedication to craftsmanship and his ability to lead from experience continue to set a high standard in the industry.

Ismael melendez

Construction Foreman

Ismael Melendez is a skilled carpenter and dedicated construction professional with over 12 years of industry experience. He began his career as a journeyman with PL Builders, where he learned the trades and developed a strong foundation in residential and commercial construction. Known for his attention to detail and strong work ethic, Ismael thrives on-site, bringing hands-on expertise and leadership to every project. His goal is to grow into a superintendent role, running larger jobs and continuing to build a lasting career in the field he loves.
